Yes, I use 2 X 19" screens on both of my main systems.  When I used to write
web code, I would have the web page in a browser on one screen, and the dev
environment on the other.  Change the code and refresh the browser.  And
when you are trying to align stuff on the web page.  There is no substitute
for looking at the results while you count stuff out in the code.

Now I use it for the code and the debugger.  And sometimes the datasheet.  I
have room for all three to be up at the same time.  I thought it was a cool
toy when I first did it, but now I really can't imagine going to an office
to work with one screen.  I am now lusting after 19" flat screens to give me
some of my desk back.

Oh, and my first computer was a kit from Heathkit that I built.  It had a
6502 and could be programmed in machine language (no assembler) or Tiny
Basic.  It had an LED segment display that could show about 6 characters.  I
still remember the exhilaration when I first got "CPU UP" displayed.  You
just have to write one machine language program to realize the amazing power
of an assembler :-)
