I have 20 MHz microprocessor crystals for sale, $10 per 100.

These are the HC49U/S package which is the short and stubby SMT
package, but they can be surface mounted or through hole mounted.

I have other components for sale as well, list is available on the web at:

http://www.box.net/shared/a29nl8yqf4

I also have reels of SMT components for sale, these are listed in the
database of the Electronic Component Exchange mailing list. Search
the database online for your needs, and feel free to join if you have
excess components to sell or trade.

You need to give more specs if you want anyone to take this seriously.
Important attributes you left out are whether they are rated for series or
parallel operation, load capacitance of parallel, and their accuracy.

Never mind.
I was not *that* interested anyway...

Actually, Art. Your post was very fine.

The full part number was all I needed to get the full specs on the
crystals. Olin's statements represent his own opinion.

On the other hand, I was able to actually click on the link and get the
full specs for all your parts for sale. And the price appears to ve very
attractive for the crystals in particular.

Like solarwind, I would like to know if you are willing to ship to Canada.

Thanks

Rolf

Worked fine for me.

Sure, if you're willing to go and look up the part number just to get a few
mandatory specs that should have been mentioned up front.  People are busy,
and if you make it too much of a hassle they'll just say to themselves
"screw this".  He's trying to sell something.  Making it easy for his
customers would have been a good idea.

Since this is the PIClist, and all PICs run their crystals in parallel mode,
you couldn't even tell from his message if the crystal are usable within
specs on a PIC.  Duh.

Please stop clogging up the list being rude. If you wanted to know the
specs you could have asked for them nicely. Don't play policeman or
nanny, that's my job(to some extent).

Thanks,

Bob

Wow,

Olin, I'm not sure what I did to incur your wrath, but whatever I
did, I am sorry for it.

I got a partial reel of these from a local contract manufacturer who
had them left over. I have used a bunch of them with a USB enameled
PIC18F2550, and they seem to work fine although I don't know how
tolerant the USB protocol is with regard to the clock frequency.

I got them cheap and have saved 200 of them for my own use. The
piclist is a great mailing list and my hope was to sell them cheaply
to those on the list since it's unlikely I'll ever need more myself.

Digikey sells them, they are part number XC741CT-ND, and the full
specs are available on the Digikey website.

These are the extended temperature range crystals, which is exactly
what my application uses since the PIC controls a DDS chip, which
makes lots of heat inside the enclosure.

Full spec's are at:
