I have an ISA bus scope card from GAGE, but am not sure about the drivers for it. It says Compuscope Lite on it, and part number 0032026, although this might be the blank board part number. Hello Robert, Scott and Domien, I've bought and built the BitScope. The hardware is wonderfull and I've found it easy to mount. You can buy one "built and tested" if you want. The sad thing is that there's no "wonderfull" software for it yet. The Scopal is good but not perfect. The guys at BitScope are promising a fine "DSO software" and some goodies like the "Bitscope Network Interface Adaptor" but the website was updated last time at 2002-05-31. The good news is that John Pavlick would be releasing his "VBScope SE" soon. It seens impressive. As it's an open project, you can write an app for it if you can expend some time. It seemed to me that the products listed not for USA had adapters with them and I assumed they were probably for 220V and not suitable. The same scope offered exactly the same without the adapter did not restrict sales to the US. I need something I can use on a boat and I think it would be great to use with my laptop since its powered off of the USB port. If anyone has used one I'd like to hear what you think. Here is a really neat unit I have that works very well that you can download to your PC. It is based on the gameboy. Their web site: http://www.picotech.com/ Shows their stuff, starting at a simple single-channel device, 0 to 5V input, 8-bit resolution, 20K samples/sec up to an amazing 5G samples/sec, 12 bit resolution, two-channel! The software will show the data either as as a 'scope or as a "voltmeter", it will log readings at any given interval and for as long as you specify. There is spectrum analysis software too. I use their little "Dr.Daq" device (which is really for teaching) to record the temperatures of my hot water tank and the outflow pipe, to see (for example) how long it takes to get up to temperature after it's cooled down.
