Hi, I'm trying to build a Wisp628 programmer. Currently it is mostly working, but it still has one major problem - it can't seem to program the fuses. When I use the 'go flash.hex' command it fails at 0000, but when I use 'write flash.hex' it programs the memory correctly (I've verified this by reading to a file), but fails at 2007. my target is a 16f628 I've tried different fuses values but I'm currently trying to program 3FF0 when I use 'xwisp load flash.hex target f628 dump' it reads 2007: 3FF0 when I use 'xwisp write flash.hex' followed by 'xwisp get dump' it reads out the correct program, but the 2007 line is missing. Sorry, without a scope on your hardware (that I can see for myself) I am out of suggestions. Thanks for your help. One more thing - I downloaded the wisp dos-mode program and it seems to work with that. I still can't get the 'go' command to work, but it properly programs the fuses and if I use the 'run' command after 'go' the target works correctly. Eben Olson > {Original Message removed}
