'[EE]: problems with wisp628'

Hi,
I'm trying to build a Wisp628 programmer. Currently it is mostly working,
but it still has one major problem - it can't seem to program the fuses.
When I use the 'go flash.hex' command it fails at 0000, but when I use
'write flash.hex' it programs the memory correctly (I've verified this by
reading to a file), but fails at 2007. Does anyone know what could be
causing this?

Thanks,
       Eben Olson

- which target are you using?
- what fuses value are you trying to program? (use 'xwisp load <hex
file> target f628 dump', fuses is the value after 2007:)
- what is the Vpp voltage (use 'xwisp tak', then type 0000CX, measture
the voltage on the yellow wire, with and without the target connected)

my target is a 16f628
I've tried different fuses values but I'm currently trying to program 3FF0
when I use 'xwisp load flash.hex target f628 dump' it reads
2007: 3FF0
when I use 'xwisp write flash.hex' followed by 'xwisp get dump' it reads out
the correct program, but the
2007 line is missing.

Vpp with target connected is 14.06v, without is 14.12

thanks,

That is OK, but something else is wrong (or worse: marginal). Sorry,
without a scope on your hardware (that I can see for myself) I am out of
suggestions.

Thanks for your help. One more thing - I downloaded the wisp dos-mode
program and it seems to work with that. I still can't get the 'go' command
to work, but it properly programs the fuses and if I use the 'run' command
after 'go' the target works correctly.
