'[EE] Linistepper support. Was: Low cost encoder.'

face picon face
Oh good... I get to provide tech support for a product in front of a 2000
member mailing list with some of the most respected people in the industry
watching. No pressure! <GRIN>

All the connections are documented at
http://www.piclist.com/techref/io/stepper/linistep/lini_use.htm as well as a
step by step guide to the first power up including setting the PSU voltage
and so on. I REALLY recommend you read the entire thing. If you just don't
have the time: Set the PSU to about 3 times the rated voltage of the motor.

Yes the 4.7's were substituted for the 22uf. Sorry: I missed updating the
documentation.

Now, if you don't know what the connections on the motor are, I happen to be
working on a way to find that out easily without even a meter. Since you
undoubtedly have a meter, and didn't directly ask that question anyway. I'll
assume you don't need that and will post the first version of it separately
to get some review and suggestions from the list before I pass it on.

Do let me know if you need anything else.

List members: Feel free to comment on how I could provide better support.
I'm always open to constructive criticism.

James.
