A friend and I also tried the Corel drawing with an inkjet printer on the overhead transparency film designed for inkjets. We reversed the image so the ink was on the back side of the plastic and right reading through the plastic. We then spray painted white paint on top of the ink after masking the LED areas. Also, using a program off the net, I created the RGB values that matched the wavelength of the green displays I bought and instead of going clear over the LEDs I used that as a fill colour. Came out quite nice. The black has a little bit of the striping that an inkjet does but over all usable. Not as nice as silk screen but for a one of.... What I was trying to avoid was turning a whole lot of little 'stove-pipe hats" as you've done (proficiently, I might add) > http://www.autoartisans.com/ELS/photos/Buttons.jpg I have a lathe and could've done that but a wire to string them on so they can't fall out works well too
