'[OT]:: Microsoft Spaces not so wide open'
2007\06\08@082005

I'm not usually a visitor to "social networking" sites such as
Microsoft Spaces, but I wanted to look at a friends blog.
On attempting to access
http://spaces.msn.com
I get an HTTP 500 error - "internal server error".
The explanations says "This error (HTTP 500 Internal Server Error)
means that the website you are visiting had a server problem which
prevented the webpage from displaying."
While it SAYS the fault is there Murphy says it may be here.
However,
- I can access the site and the specific users site from 2 other PCs
on this LAN.
- There is no firewall operating on this PC (there is one on the
router but that is shared by the 2 other PCs as well).
- I have reset all browser security settings to default.
As I can access the site via the PCs the issue is more a puzzle than a
major problem.
General gargoyling and looking through the spaces help doesn't help
(even though I'm sure the answer is there somewhere).
Any clues?

Hi Russell, it works at my place, with Netscape.
Could you try another browser (are you using IE, btw?) ?
Yesterday and 2 days ago, on some customers' PCs, a popular italian
webmail site did not work on IE...
