The REALLY Wikipedia enthused can cheat - when the page opens press "save".
Page stays available.

I also added the wiki search in Firefox (right click a search box,
add a keyword) and that works also.

I'm a bit surprised they single out English speakers.

Little do they realize the Tower of Babel we've become...  :)

Jack - I don't know why you're surprised.  This is a protest against
pending legislation in the US Congress.

They state that the mobile page is not blacked out.
Also, it says that it will work if you disable javascript in the browser (and I tried it and it does work).

Also if you hit ESC in the right moment -- just before it blacks out...

This has made me realise just how much I use Wiki, and what a wonderful resource it is.
Hard to remember what it was like before you could just google/wiki (just about) anything you wanted to know. I vaguely remember visiting a large, dusty old place called a library...
Then again, at least before the net there was no Twitter.. :-)

Same. Just got home after classes and started working on an
neurobiology assignment. Viewed at least 15 different articles
pertaining to things I didn't understand in the assignment sheet
alone. Would have been a huge waste of time to go to the library and
sit there searching through a million books to find what I needed
