'[OT]: Help: Identify Semiconductor firm from graph'

Hi list,

I have a problem: I have a broken SOIC PWM controller in a camera that has
a type number and a strange symbol on it. I can't locate a spare so I
submit the description of the symbol to the wisdom of the list:

------                   --
\     \                /    \
\     \              |      |
 \     \              \    /
  -------------         --
         \     \
          \     \
           \     \
            -------

The ASCII drawing represents two rhombuses touching on the SE resp NW
corners and a circle of diameter almost equal to one of the rhombuses
heights, to the right of, and aligned in height with the upper rhombus.
All three figures are solid filled. The rhombuses are figured
exaggeratedly slanted in the ASCII picture, they are almost squares in
reality, with very little slant.

If anyone has seen or knows this symbol, and has a web site or an address
for the firm or a distributor, then please say so.

thank you in advance,

Peter

PS: Whoever came up with the idea of putting a logo w/o a name on anything
while knowing that there is no visual/graphical search possibility yet
should do something about it imho. Resigning would be a good start imho.

I've got a database on my hard drive that contains a few hundred logos - if
you want me to put it on my website, let me know.
If you're using Linux, you'll have to wait until I find a way to extract all
the records from the database file and convert them into a more *nix
friendly format.

Later.

Re: links and help.

Thanks, the symbol is nowhere to be found.

Philip Pemberton: Your database could be usefull, not just to me, so if
you have the capability, why not put it up. I do not understand about
'converting to a *nix friendly format' ;-). I thought that the other camp
had the problem with reading 'unknown file formats' ;-) (as in open with
... ?).

many thanks,

Peter
