Hi, Some time back there was talk about an inexpensive GPS module avalibe has anyone got the link to the supplier?. I have little expereance with GPS's, what is the usual resolution of them? eg, how accurate are they, down to the mm, foot, meter? Regards Andrew

Think in terms of about 30 meters or so, on average, can be worse. They are useless indoors. I use mine for a ham radio application called APRS (http://www.aprs.net) , as well as for business travel. A moment to translate the address to GPS coords, then just drive. <x-flowed>Specs are more like 50-100 m accuracy for run-of-the-mill units, at least while the satellite signal is intentionally tainted by the gov. Differential units that also listen to a ground station as a reference signal get a bit better, but you aren't going to get accuracies of better than several meters...certainly not feet or mm. YOu ought to get teh DeLorme software - you can skip the "put into GPS coords" and just go to the street address. My wife has used it to find faster routes from here to her mother's house. Andy
