My imagination was accurate, Eric Smith and I were among a group of
10 other power eager engineers at the very first ever Scenix
Seminar.

Here are a couple of the highlights:

There is a new SX Key. Unfortunately, they're hot off the press
and didn't completely work for us. They programmed the chips
correctly, but were unable to allow us to debug them. For those
of you who own the existing SX key you will apparently be able
to exchange it for the new one. Hopefully the bugs will be gone
by then. Also, I believe the new key only works with the silicon
Rev 2.4+.

There's supposed to be a new IDE by the end of the summer (or
winter for the southerners).

Scenix is planning a two-week seminar tour across Europe.

---------------------------
About half way through the seminar Jonathan, an engineer who
works with me at SRI, asks me, "What's the difference between
a 'Virtual Peripheral' and an 'old-fashioned  bit-banging
Subroutine'?"

Any of you marketing gurus have a good answer????

I wonder if they could take a 10 000km detour...

Hehehe. None, I think! It is like "flash" sounding a lot zippier than "eee-eee-prom".
