Well put, Olin.

If specific issues with a particular development tool aren't of enough
general interest to list members, it may be worth considering additional
topic tags for them. (Otherwise, I'll just continue deleting them.)

You're right, though, I'm starting to get a bad impression, probably
unfairly as well, just from the volume of posts.

Regards, Bob

I had not considered the impression left on people reading the HEADLINES
but not the STORY; you are right, that could definitely present a bad
impression.  I, in fact was reading the STORY without reading the
HEADLINE...it is pretty alarmist!  I guess I should have taken the
initiative to move the subject off-list earlier.

I would hope everyone at least comes away from this with an impression that:
1. TechTools _DOES_ BETA testing rather than 'bug swaps called upgrades'
2. TechTools is responsive to BETA BUG REPORTS.
3. TechTools does not consider BETA BUGs as dirty laundry to be
hidden/denied or ignored.

Well said Jerry.  And I will add that Tech-Tools has a great setup and is
very good to their customers.  Apologies to all who were bored by the topic.
For off topic, do we just put [OT]: in the subject?

Thanks for the pat on the back.

I don't see moving to OT (if that is where you are heading with this).

The list is right in that this has slowly evolved into a TechTools support
issue with limited global interest.  We should not use the MIT bandwidth
for TechTools support.  We have our own servers and bandwidth for that.

Lets use the TechTools mail list or private email.

Anybody that *IS* interested in how this saga plays out is welcome to join
us or listen in at the TechTools list.  For that matter, you could help
beat up on the BETA and force more BUGs out into the light where we can
squash them before official release.

Thanks all....this thread is dead.
