'[PIC]: RF Website (Info on Linx SC chip with PICs)'

Hello,

About 4 months ago or so I recall someone posting a site with a ton of
information on RF.  It was the start of a book and I believe it was the
author of the website who posted the link.  What was really interesting (for
me), is that it had a section on using Linx Technology SC chips with PIC uC
to create a wireless link.  Does anyone know the site I am refering to? or a
site that talks about using the Linx Technology SC-PA chip with a PIC.

Regards,
Donovan Parks

Hi Donovan,

I think you might mean my site:

http://www.rocket-roar.com/BWCM

and the section you specifically mention:

www.rocket-roar.com/BWCM/900MHz/over.html
(this is the project overview, you need to keep clicking next to take you
through the next several sections dealing with the project involving the SC)

Unfortunately, only small changes have been made since it was posted, and
the site is far from finished. However, the section on using the SC with a
PIC is complete and has both schematic and code, as well as a gerber and NC
drill file for the PCB layout. I was planning to sell PCBs for this (and I
still hope to do so), but the current PCB as shown in the photo is quite
large and I'd like to re-do the layout to make it smaller and therefore
less expensive, but haven't had a chance to do so yet.

I do plan on making some significant site updates in the next week or so.

Sean

Thanks Sean,

This is the site.  Thanks for providing the link and the great website.  I
would be very interested in purchasing the PCB if you get around to selling
them.  I'm in no rush for a PCB though, so I'll keep checking your site.

Thanks again,
Donovan
