Roy, long shot but could be a browser issue on your end. If DNS is
resolving the microchip.com address (on a linux box use "dig
microchip.com, not sure on windows, maybe nslookup in a dos window),
then its probably your browser.
On my mac (safari browser) I can reach the site but the url bar changes
to:
http://www.microchip.com/stellent/idcplg?
IdcService=SS_GET_PAGE&nodeId=64
after I connect. I'd start with either dig or nslookup or something
to figure out if the address can even be resolved. If its valid, try a
different browser perhaps.
