I can't recall if any one posted a link to this website, but just in case - http://www.cyclonepower.com/works.html They have licensed their 'steam' powered engine to Advent Power Systems of Florida and Great Wall of China (unsurprisingly a Chinese company in China, there also used to be a white wine called Great Wall as well). The engine can burn almost anything to allow it to create steam, the steam after exiting the heat exchanger is condensed and some of the residual heat is used to preheat the combustion chamber which they say improves efficiency. The steam is used to lubricate the pistons so no oil is needed. Unfortunately you have to apply for proper technical details. Looks interesting.
