Hi,
How do i represent Floating Point numbers in PIC?  I've tried to
googled it but came up with nothing.

If I used Floating point, does all the instruction for
add,subtract,compare function still applicable?

Thanks in advance.

http://tinyurl.com/5to7n <- Google search for "pic floating point". I also
suggest you check out the Microchip application notes on floating point:

As others said, no not directly.

There's no native support.

Nope. There's no support.

A suggestion: instead of asking what can be done, describe what you are
trying to do. Anything can be done in software. The question is what needs
to be done.

For example if the range and precision are well known, it may be possible to
do it with fixed point format.

But without knowing the application it's hard to make a determination.

Also high level languages often support floating point. For example Sergio's

XCSB has floating point support. You can find a Lite version of it here:

http://xcprod.com/titan/XCSB

So tell us what you're trying to do, and then maybe you can get a better
suggestion of how to accomplish it with the limited resources available.
