From the Software License Agreement found inside the back cover of the manual: "5 TRANSFERS - Licensee agrees not to transfer or export the licensed material to any country other than the one it was originally shipped to by CCS." You got Intel, Lattice, Mentor Graphics, Tektronix, lots of off-shore wafer fabs, HP, and on and on... We call it "Silicon Forest". Hey guys, as someone who does tech support once a month, it ain't easy to get past the language barriers -- not to mention cultural barriers. I was on the other side of it getting tech support from Taiwan and it was rough going. My Taiwanise is non-existant so the poor guy on technical support had to try to communicate technical concepts in what was clearly not his first language. I had my grade school education in Germany, but positively die when it comes to jargon in German. I suspect shitty foreign tech support does have to a lot to do with language. As a completely off topic but I suspect related comment, I recall being asked by an American, who like myself was working at the time in Saudi Arabia, where I had learned to speak English so well. There are folks on the net who have videos from Mexico, before CNN edited what was aired (it was not "live" say these militia guys) which are utterly gruesome. And on another subject, anyone seen the ad Mchip has out on the FPGA replacement? appears to be like a Xilinx hardwire type app, but what parts do they cover?
