I am doing the same thing and I might be able to help. Let me say first I
have recently been able to drive uni and bi-polar motors although, I am
still not well rounded enough on motor to know what you are referring to
when you say pendagon connection and 5 phase bipolar. Maybe I am using them
on my current set-up and I am not familiar with the terminology. Anyway I
have some code that someone on the list was kind enough to give me and the
driver IC was obtained via a free sample. Let me know some of the details
and email me off the list.
