Hi,
Here I am again, I have a problem when I assemble my program using MPASM
windows version under MPLAB-IDE for PIC17C756. It tells me that I am
overwritting direction 0000 which is start. And I don't know where am I
wrong. If  there is any help p'se give it to me.

I had that problem with the __CONFIG directive
with MPLAB 4.12.12 using the 17C756 also.
4.12.00 works just fine for me.

BTW: It took alot (act of God) for MicroChip to
admit to a bug!

Thanks Mauricio for ur intention actually I just downloaded the new MPLABv499 and it
works! It was just a miracle to as I just assembled a template code for PIC17C756
and It couldn't do it; so I come to dought out that may may there was something else
goin' wrong! Too somebody (pic-fun) told me that was a MPLABv41212 which has
sometimes this problem.

For those using picstart to program 17 series chips go to
http://www.microchip.com/10/Tools/picmicro/program/picstart/index.htm

and look at the entry for picstart plus firmware and see why it is updated to
ver 2.01
