Hi, Sorry for taking so long to answer the requests for the opto-isolated RS-232 compatible interface. I have been out of town for quite a while working on a big project and had no time to send this before. The schematic is available at the following URL http://www.home.iis.com.br/~alexg . It is part of some products that my company manufactures and it works nicely up to 9600 baud. It can go faster but I have not tried. the circuit is fairly low power when not communicating.
