if you can a 64kbit DRAM in metal package then you can build a LPT
port video grabber that is capable of capturing black/white 'movies'
the adapter is 'wires only', hm the same 'device' could be used for
PIC too.
DRAM's work as CCD with light the refresh time changes so you can even
get gray scale inout data.
there is program description how to buiild this device for LPT port
if you need to connect to PIC you need to write your software.
this is the way cheapest video capture.
Real CCD's cost about 12USD minimum I think (in 10k) an much more
in single qty.
oops, sorry you want to digitize Video signal? I was replying as
you wanted to 'see object'
///
PIC can possible regognize some b/w ares in video stream but
not work as 'digitizer' as of speed requirements and where do
you put the captured data?
...Bob Blicks comments are more to the topic :)
Bob, can you find the url for DCFG for us? or upload send as attach?
thanks antti
PS I did not delete the 'DRAM CCD' stuff as it may be interest tooo
