Hello! I am curently doing a little project using one serial port and one parallel port of a pentium computer, interfaced with PIC16C84. I didn't found any way to directly access the parallel port from Visual Basic 5.0. (INPs, OUTPs...) Does anybody knows how I could resolve this little problem ? Any DLLs or drivers ? Thanks a lot... There is a dll that I use very often in VB 4 and 5 to access the printer port. It is call INPOUT32.DLL and can be found freely on the web at http://www.lvr.com/parport.htm under the Viual Basic, Delphi Programming section at the bottom.
