how is this virus transmitted? and from where does it originate?

The first sign of this virus was in Israel, on June 6th. It's transmitted
via email, by replying to unread emails with a file attachment. The virus is
rather simple, it uses the CreateFile() function in the WinAPI to render the
noted files useless. Pretty neat huh? <g>

But ... it's *transmitted* ONLY by M$ mail systems, though it will
in fact damage any recipient foolish enough to execute the payload.
