Does anybody know of any resources for the design of a 4-in/2-out home video/audio matrix-style distribution system. This is kind of related in that I will be using a PIC for switching control. Thanks ...j.l.c...

Maxim makes some video crosspoint arrays. I think they use a SPI interface, which some PICs have out of the box, or you can simulate with software. For instance, the MAX456 is an 8x8 video crosspoint switch.
