Hi, In my archives (backups) I've occasionally found few files on M-bus (including detailed description). Not shure that is what you need, though. They call it M-bus, low cost home electronic system. And I beleive it's not four bit. Are there few M-buses around? Anyway, if you need it, I will zip those files and e-mail to you.
