You can hook up a PL513 or TW523 (receive only and 2 way respectively). Look at Dr. Edward Cheung's page at http://198.118.120.42/ then go to his Home Automation page. Hi Me too, any info on the x10 theory and protocol would be helpful, especially relating to lighting. Not necessarily PIC based. What do you think? I am not sure if this will apply to your particular product, but you might want to do a search for CEBUS on the internet. The CEBUS is a proposed standard for home automation that employs power line carrier as one of the physical networks. It might be advantageous for you to be compatible.
