I cannot get the MPLAB ICD to communicate with my PC. The PC is a laptop running windows 2K. The ICD is connected to the CCS Software prototyping board. I checked voltages, all the steps in the readme.icd and everything checks okay yet the MPLAB program cannot communicate with the ICD. The comm port on the PC is operative because I can use it for other connections. Any suggestions? I am considering making a null modem cable ...has anyone had similar difficulties with the ICD to PC interface?
